This single-origin Gesha hails from the Finca La Terraza farm located in southern Huila—a narrow valley nestled in the Andes. Only the coffee cherries with the highest sugar contents entered this lot to undergo fermentation for 48 hours. Next they were dried on solar beds for 25 days, then rested for 15-20 days before cupping begins to ensure optimal flavor. Vanilla ice cream sweetness with hints of cantaloupe, mint, orange blossom, and fig. (“Crown Jewel” indicates an exceptionally high quality, limited, traceable Colombian microlot that undergoes unique processing methods and/or cultivars, and detailed analysis prior to export.)
